„We have tried to explain Mircea Eliade’s view on narration in correlation to the textual meaning and which has to be “free”, not controlled by novelistic norms; for him, the book is only a project with cosmic pattern: it rhythmically renews itself by means of the repeated act of reading; its “hybrid” character is the effect of extending the factual dimension into the fictional one that aims at revealing a truth; child of cosmogonic myths, the book has a paradigmatic character, whereas the multiple disseminated meanings are integrated within an organic hierarchical perspective, whose anti-naturalistic character is suggested by its shattered aspect that invites the reader, situated in an intertextual labyrinth to an indirect recreational reading that overlooks the text in order to restate the principles of production of the new novel-novel.” (Eliade prin Eliade [Eliade through Eliade], ediţia a II-a, Editura Univers, Bucureşti, 2003) „We define the Eliadian archetype, dissociating us from Ioan-Petru Culianu’s and Adrian Marino’s considerations of it as a performal transcendent aprioristic category and a morphologic one, realized according to the description of the religious facts and which describe it through the binary opposition historical-anhistorical. We consider that the Eliadian sacred archetype is not only an archetype of origin, but a transcendent and transcendental “chronotope”, with a bi-unitary, mobile, self-generative, reversible character, repeatable in the absolute and the re-innovating, upholding ontological meaning. We represent the dynamics of this renovatio, which supposes the preservation and expansion of the sacred archetype in the shape of an endless column, similar to that of Brancuşi, evoking Blaga’s mioritic space transposed vertically. We define the Eliadian view on the sacred in relation to his procosmic philosophical anthropology of a religious type, whose model is the Romanian sacramental view on existence, represented by cosmic Christianity; this provides man with the ability to recover origin, to transgress and to oppose history without being against it. The artist, the hermeneutist, the initiated theologian and the specialist in the sacred are those who help man to understand this ability.” (Eliade prin Eliade [Eliade through Eliade], ediţia a II-a, Editura Univers, Bucureşti, 2003 |
