Elena Prus is a Director of the Institute of Philological and Intercultural Researches at Free International University of Moldova (Chisinau), Professor Doctor.

Graduate of the Faculty of Foreign Languages and Literatures, State University of Moldova (Chisinau).

The title of the first doctoral dissertation in philology is Poetics and Stylistics of Modality in Proust’s Work and the act was kept at “Al. I. Cuza” University of Iasi, Romania.

The title of the second doctoral dissertation is The novelistic Representation of Parisian Woman in French Literature of the Second Half of the 19^th Century and the act was kept at Moldovan Academy of Sciences.

Since 1980’s Elena Prus has carried an intense scientific and publicistic activity, her interests going beyond strict literary space, covering diverse areas from culture to urbanism and scripts for television.

Deputy Editor-in-Chief of  the scientific journal Lecturi filologice, Chisinau.

Honorary Member in the Francophone Association for Education Development in Moldova (Paris).
